Conference Format

The Conference Program suggests review reports (40 min.), oral presentations (20 min.), and poster reports (the poster board size 200x140 cm). Projector device with computer and transparency overhead will be available for presentation illustrations. Program Committee reserves the right to determine the form of presentations (oral or poster). The authors will be notified of the form of their presentations before this September 1. Official languages of the Conference will be English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided for all reports.

Requirements to the reports

Reports in Russian or English (1 hard copy + file version on floppy disk 3.5") are to be submitted to the Organizing Committee on the first day of the Conference, in registration. Total volume of presentations, including the abstract, tables, figures, and references should not exceed 6 pages.

The hard copy version should be similar to that in E-file. Only WinWord format files are accepted. The hard copies to be presented as printouts from laser printer on white paper A4 (21.0x29.7 cm), one-sided. Text format: height 24.5 cm, width 16 cm, Times New Roman fonts 12 pt.

The first page is to contain the title (in capitals), names of the authors, and respective organizations they represent.

The abstracts (in Russian or English) to be placed before the main text body. Tables and black-and-white figures to be arranged within the text or at the end. Color illustrations not accepted. In addition to the file of presentation, the floppy disk is to contain numbered graphic files of the figures, e.g., Fig.1, Fig.2, etc. Formats readable in the most widely used text editors are recommended for these files (jpg, tif, pcx, bmp, cdr, etc.). Original black-and-white photos with inscriptions (author, title) and indication of arrangement and location are to be attached to the report. References are to be indicated in square brackets within the text, and the list of references is to be at the end of text after illustrations.

Only reports presented at the Conference personally by one of the authors shall be included into the Proceedings.
